Tutorials
I do one-to-one and group tutorials which could be facilitated face-to-face or via Skype to give advice to researchers mainly on their grant application proposals and to support post-graduate students with their assignments and dissertations:
Stage 1
One-to-one consultation session to identify your research questions, aims and objectives
Designing your project methodology
Outlining your plan of investigation, e.g. identifying your research sample, ethical consideration, method of data collection, method of data analysis, and dissemination plan
Stage 2
Reviewing your data analysis
Providing detailed feedback on your first draft
Final revision before your project submission
Creating Narrative life stories
I have conducted about 200 interviews over 18 years of research and evaluation. I conduct narrative interviews, transcribe the interview accounts and analyse them using performance analysis of narrative a method that encourages the narrator to tell their stories in their preferred ways and giving importance to the narrative/experiential model of time. This method allows individuals to make sense of their past experiences while considering their current situations which leads to better understanding of self and creating new identities.
