Creating Narrative life stories
I have conducted and analysed about 300 research and evaluation interviews. I mainly conduct narrative interviews, transcribe the interview accounts and analyse them using 1) Thematic narrative analysis, 2) Structural narrative analysis, 3) Performance or dialogic narrative analysis. These methods encourage the narrator to tell their stories in their preferred ways while giving importance to the narrative/experiential model of time. Narrative allows individuals to make sense of their past experiences while considering their current situations which leads to better understanding of self and creating new identities.
